Logging and forestry roads

Excavators, loaders and dozers on logging shows. The booking needs the company road and which landing. Note whether a pickup gets in. Some landings do not.

A hose blown at a landing is on the hydraulic leak page. Shut the machine down if a hose is spraying, and keep hands off it.

Toward the Monashees

Some of these roads climb and stay rough after breakup. Note whether chains are required, and whether the machine is at a landing or still on the road.

Cell service drops. Leave a number that works, and a message with the km marker if the call cannot be answered.

Km markers

The km marker is the location, not "up the Lumby road." It prevents a wrong turn when the signal goes. If the problem is a track, note which side.
